The point features represent trees that will be removed by Department of Public Works and Transportation(DPW&T), as recommended by arborists for risk management. The purpose is to facilitate the design process for replacement of street trees done through the Right Tree Right Place Program (RTRP) also called the Bradford Pear Tree Replacement Program. This street tree project is managed through DPW&T, Office of Highway Maintenance (OHM). The point features are created in the field using ArcGIS Collector Application. Trees are marked for removal because they pose a risk to activities in the public right-of-way, along the street and on sidewalks. This file was used by arborists at the Neighborhood Design Center beginning in March 2017 for approximately 18 months. |
