Description: Location of all fixed transit rail stations throughout Prince George's County, Maryland. Point features for Amtrak and MARC stations are identified from Amtrak and MTA maps and placed based on orthophotography. Metro stations are identified from WMATA maps and placed based on orthophotography. The Purple Line Light Rail stations were created from MTA's Locally Preferred Alternative map available online at http://www.purplelinemd.com/maps-graphics. Description: This layer shows the location of all fixed passenger rail transit lines throughout Prince George's County, Maryland. Features for this layer were created as centerlines from, where applicable, the two rail centerline features from the 2009 Planimetric update data that were identified as providing service for a particular route, based on Amtrak, MTA, and WMATA websites. The source data was created for mapping at a a scale of 1:1200. The feature for the Purple Line Light Rail feature was created from MTA's Locally Preferred Alternative map available online at http://www.purplelinemd.com/maps-graphics. Description: The Energy Resiliency Zones (ERZ) are based off of the Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative (TNI) areas and are part of the Clean Energy Grant and seeks to help alleviate efficiency challenges faced by County residents. Taking the link between energy efficiency and social inequality to heart, and helping to break the cycle of energy inefficiency and energy poverty, the ERZ energy grants are to assist residents within these zones with adopting energy efficiency and water efficiency measures, and for subsequent access to rooftop solar photovoltaics upon the successful implementation of efficiency measures. The Energy Resiliency Zones are delineated and maintained by Prince George's County OITC.
