In 2014 EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA) developed a sidewalk inventory from Prince George’s County data. Through this process EA determined the amount of county-maintained sidewalks as well as an estimated area of sidewalk in the county’s right-of-way (ROW). Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) requested an updated inventory of their sidewalks using 2017 data. DPWT also requested two additional analysis: a comparison of total miles of sidewalk in 2014 versus 2017, and any locations where sidewalk was “removed” between 2014 and 2017. |
